Performances by the Queen’s Flute and Clarinet Choirs and the Percussion and Cello Ensembles. A special performance by the Clarinet Choir includes a performance of “At Daybreak” written by BMus student Freddy Baker. The Clarinet Choir will be performing with members of our Puppetry class for an extra special visual experience.
The DAN School of Drama & Music is delighted to be back on campus learning and performing together. As our first semester back together nears its end, we are incredibly excited to present ensemble performances this November and December at the beautiful Isabel Bader Center for the Performing Arts.
While the Queen's community has benefitted greatly by applying the Safe Return to Campus Framework this fall, the time for diligence and caution has not passed. While our students have been able to rehearse and perform together, we are taking a prudent approach to public performance this fall. Given the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and the current rising cases in Ontario, all of our upcoming concerts will be live-streamed so that as broad an audience as possible can enjoy them. We look forward to this exciting milestone and thank you for your patience until we can safely welcome you to campus again for in-person concerts. In the meantime, please enjoy our livestream events.
